Service is in my DNA.
Growing up in Baltimore, I learned from my parents the powerful difference that a small business can make within a community. Feeling a call to service in the years following 9/11, I joined the Navy and spent ten years leading outstanding individuals who were making a difference not just for their community, but also their country.
Military Service
I graduated from the United States Naval Academy in Annapolis, MD and spent ten years as a Navy pilot, deploying onboard aircraft carriers and destroyers to the South China Sea and Arabian Gulf. I also had the distinct honor of representing the Navy on Capitol Hill as a Legislative Fellow in the U.S. House of Representatives.
Family
My wife Tessa and I have been together since 2011, and as a successful business-woman herself, she has been my rock through many moves and multiple deployments. I am beyond grateful for her support, and we are excited to finally re-establish roots closer to our friends and family in the Mid-Atlantic.
Education
When I left the Navy in 2022, I knew I wanted to continue leading teams in the business world. Returning to school, I earned an MBA from Harvard Business School, where I discovered Entrepreneurship through Acquisition and studied the principles behind acquiring and operating a small business. As I dove deeper into the subject, I quickly recognized the outstanding opportunity to once again lead exceptional people, create value for companies and communities, and provide an attractive exit opportunity for current business owners looking to retire.
